Wayne was born in Abbotsford and began his legal practice with one of Abbotsford’s largest firms in 1995 after completing his legal studies at the University of British Columbia. In 2005, he became one of Valley Law Group LLP’s founding partners. Wayne is married with three children and is delighted to be raising his family and practicing law in the city that he was born.

Personal and Professional Background

David is licensed to practice law in British Columbia and Washington State, and has been practicing in the Fraser Valley since he was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1996. He was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 1993. He is also qualified to practice as an attorney in the United States District Court, Western District of Washington.

Prior to the formation of Valley Law Group LLP David practiced with one of Abbotsford’s largest law firms. He has successfully conducted trials in the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has successfully represented clients in the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

Along with Wayne Neufeld, David was one of the founding partners of Valley law Group LLP.

David was raised in the Fraser Valley. Outside of practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and his extended family. One day he hopes to witness the Vancouver Canucks win the Stanley Cup.

Personal and Professional Background

Born and raised in Abbotsford, Eric is proud to be practicing law in his hometown. After graduating from Abbotsford Senior Secondary in 1998, Eric pursued honours and Master’s degrees in Canadian History at Simon Fraser University before attending law school at the University of British Columbia, where he graduated in 2009.

While in law school, Eric was on the board of directors of the UBC Law Review, the faculty’s student-run academic journal. He received the McCarthy Tetrault Prize for achieving the highest standing in Property Law.

Before joining Valley Law Group LLP as an articled student in 2009, Eric spent a summer gaining invaluable experience working for a large downtown Vancouver firm. He has previously volunteered with Big Brothers, and looks forward to bringing a spirit of community involvement to the establishment of his practice in the Fraser Valley. Since 2015, he has been a director of Abbotsford Community Services.


Eric was called to the Bar of British Columbia in May 2010, and became a partner of Valley Law Group LLP in September 2013.


Eric has successfully represented clients at the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.

In his spare time, Eric is a recreational hockey goaltender, volunteering his services making local hockey players feel better about their skills. He also enjoys playing golf, tennis, and spending time with his wife and three children.

Personal and Professional Background

Stephen grew up in the Fraser Valley. He studied for 2 years at the University of the Fraser Valley before deciding to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he graduated with First Class Honours in 2005. While at Dalhousie, Stephen focused his studies on comparative politics.

Stephen studied law at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. As a law student, Stephen was a volunteer with Student Legal Services of Edmonton and Pro Bono Students Canada. Stephen was awarded his law degree in the spring of 2009.

After completing his articles at a civil litigation law firm in Edmonton in 2010, Stephen was admitted to the Alberta bar in July of 2010. He was admitted to the British Columbia bar in August of 2010.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking, travelling, being outdoors, and reading about history.
